Precious is as Precious Does

The movie Precious, inspired by the novel PUSH by Saphirre, is having its national release this weekend. I am officially encouraging everyone to see the movie for different reasons than others.

The Book You Can't Put Down - Dreams Thrown Away by Dilsa Saunders Bailey

Dreams Thrown Away, the dramatic new novel by novice author, Dilsa Saunders Bailey, is one that transports its reader, not only to the space and time of the characters, but also into their minds. Amazingly, the reader begins to anticipate the next move of the characters. At some point, one begins to feel that this is not a book, but a movie.
