Okay, aside from the shameless plug...I've read Worth a Thousand Worths by Stacy Hawkins Adams, The Devil is a Lie by ReShonda Tate Billingsley, The Last Woman Standing by Tia McCollors and I just finished Kim Roby's new book, A Deep Dark Secret.

On my immediate TBR pile are Michelle Larks "Til Debt Do Us Part" and "The Manual" by Sherryle Jackson. Then I go back into my writing cave.

My debut novel, Secrets and Lies is coming soon...
November 24th in fact. I'm excited about the release of Secrets and Lies. I believe it's a great story and apparently some others do too. I just found out the novel has been picked up by Black Expressions Book Club. I'm so excited. Not only is this a great opportunity for Secrets and Lies to been seen an purchased by more readers, but it'll be available in hardcover through the club. So cool.
So here's a little about the novel...

Faith Morgan is struggling with her faith. Years of neglect leave her doubting that God will ever fix her marriage. When a coworker accuses her husband, Jonah, of the unthinkable, Faith begins to wonder if she really knows him at all, and if it’s truly in God’s will for them to stay married.

Pediatric cardiologist Jonah Morgan is obsessed with one thing: his work. A childhood incident cemented his desire to heal children at any cost, even his family, but now he finds himself at a crossroads in his life. Will he continue to allow the past to haunt him, or find healing and peace in a God he shut out long ago?

Secrets and Lies will be available virtually everywhere books are sold - Amazon, Barnes and Nobles, Borders, Books a Million and at independent bookstores. It's available for sale on my website as well. Click here to pre-order at Amazon or here for Barnes and Nobles.

Still not convinced? Want to know more about the book and my writing? I have a blog Secrets and Lies The Novel where I've posted two shorts stories and more about the book. You may visit my website to learn more about me, read an excerpt and learn about my free-lance fiction editing services. Also, don't forget to sign my guestbook and let me know you stopped by.

Blessings,

Rhonda McKnight

The most recent christian fiction I read was Lady Jasmine by Victoria Christopher Murray. I liked it. Thought I would have problems since I didn't read any of the prior books for this particular series, but I didn't. I was able to read it as a stand alone.

Just read The Red Tent! OMG...loved it. It's an older book about the stor of Dinah from the Bible. It's historical fiction. Highly recommend.
