@ Nandi,  you are in my prayers,  may the memories keep you strong.

@Linda, waiting  to get my copy of the cookbook, Congrats on completing it.

@ Nandi - I am sorry to hear about your loss. I will keep you in my thoughts

@Chel-c - You had a lot of your plate. Much success on your new job and with the nursing boards. And relocation by itself is a major project.

@ Linda - can't wait to try some of your recipes in your cookbook

To all that finished this challenge - Congrats!!!

I hope you enjoyed the reading experience

I know I am sooo late but I am still going to participate, starting today and I have until my birthday (Jan 1) to finish! I hate I am starting behind everyone but I enjoy a challenge! i finished one book a couple of days ago by this new author called LD Hardy.  Her book is titled Generational Curses and it was AMAZING! i really enjoyed it. it indirectly talks about the subject of generational curses but uses these endearing characters to encourage dialogue about the topic.

so now, i only have 29 more to go!! :)

This year I didn't make the challenge with other challenges and having my boyfriend have cancer and pass away two weeks ago. However, I'm still reading but just had to put it out there.

I totally flopped on this challenge :-(. Taking nursing boards, relocating, and orienting at a new job...I guess this challenge just wasn't in the stars for me. I will definitely try again next year!!!!

Sorry for the delay. I meant to come in Sunday and update things. For some reason, I always start off strong. I had to make a couple of substitutions but I did it. Boy, it was a battle.

It is FINISHED! I read my thirtieth book today, on the flight home from my cruise. My last five books were Perfect Peace by Daniel Black, Broken by Patricia Haley-Glass, Shadows On The Sand by Gayle Roper, I Shall Not Die: Living A Psalm 118:17 Existence by Kendra Norman-Bellamy and finally Crowning Glory by Pat Simmons. Gasp- did I beat Linda to the finish line? :-)

I'm almost there! I've read 25 books. The most recent were The God Hater by Bill Myers, Twelfth Prophecy by Brock and Bodie Thoene, Vicious Cycle by Terri Blackstock and It's A Curl Thing and Split Ends, both by Jacquelin Thomas. I'm either picking up Perfect Peace by Daniel Black or Broken by Patricia Haley next. I'm going on a cruise starting this weekend and I will have enough books packed to finish the challenge :-). Congratulations to all who have made it and for folks like me and Donna and others who are still closing in, keep at it!
